Leon “Buddy” Breaux Jr.
Secretary-Treasurer

Following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps, Leon “Buddy” Breaux, Jr. became the third generation of family leadership when he joined the company in 1961. At the time, the company was known as A.P. Breaux & Sons, before later becoming Breaux Oil Company.

In 1986, Buddy was responsible for the merger of Breaux Oil Company with Lockport Oil and Tire Company. The merger formed what is now the present-day Breaux Petroleum Products.

Following the merger, Buddy led the company throughout the 1990s and into the early 2000s. While at the helm, Buddy oversaw Breaux Petroleum’s unprecedented growth. During this time, the company increased its workforce, fleet, service and product offerings, and expanded the Lockport facility and warehouse. Buddy’s leadership of the company helped to solidify Breaux Petroleum’s position as one of the most trusted providers of fuel and lubricants in the Bayou region.

In 2008, after leading the company for more than 30 years across several roles of leadership, Buddy moved into his current advisory role. He maintains active participation in the oversight of several strategic growth initiatives.
