Welcoming New Leadership to the Breaux Team
Breaux Petroleum is proud to welcome David “DJ” Leveque Jr. and Mike Simien to the Breaux team. Together, they bring a powerful combination of reliability expertise and strategic sales leadership that strengthens our ability to support customers across a range of industries.
David “DJ” Leveque Jr. joins Breaux Petroleum as Senior Lubrication Engineer, bringing nearly 15 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the industrial reliability space with a deep background in rotating equipment reliability, predictive maintenance, and asset performance optimization. With a career rooted in industrial reliability, DJ has held leadership and technical roles with organizations including RelaDyne, Atten2 Deep Monitoring Solutions, Axiall Corporation, and Levingston Group. Most recently, he worked as an independent reliability consultant, partnering with industrial clients to reduce unplanned downtime, improve equipment performance, and drive long-term operation efficiencies. His practical, data-driven approach helps translate reliability initiatives into real, operational improvements for customers.
In his new role, DJ will work closely with industrial customers to implement lubrication and asset optimization best practices across a wide range of applications. His focus includes developing and managing comprehensive lubrication programs, including oil analysis, contamination control, and predictive maintenance condition monitoring, as well as providing technical training and consulting.
Mike Simien joins Breaux Petroleum as Director of Sales and Business Development, bringing more than 15 years of experience across the industrial, energy, and pipeline markets. Prior to joining Breaux, Mike spent over a decade with Precision IBC, where he served in senior account management and sales leadership roles focused on customer growth and long-term relationships. His background also includes engineering and field support experience with Siemens Energy and Goober Drilling, giving him a well-rounded perspective that bridges technical understanding and commercial strategy.
In his new role, Mike will focus on expanding customer partnerships, strengthening sales strategy, and supporting sustainable growth as Breaux continues to evolve and expand. Mike will work closely with customers to support their lubricant needs by helping identify the right products and solutions that will improve reliability, performance, and long-term value across their business.
