Truck Driver Appreciation Week
Every day, millions of Americans get behind the wheel and hit the highways to get to work. But for more than 3.5 million Americans, the highways are their workplace. They are the professional truck drivers who deliver the goods that keep our country moving.

The scale and reach of the trucking industry is enormous. Truck drivers deliver approximately 11 billion tons of freight each year, which equates to about 70% of all the freight moved in the U.S. More than 80% of communities depend solely on trucks to receive their goods.
At Breaux Petroleum, our team of drivers help us deliver our products efficiently, securely, and on time, while doing what it takes to keep our highways safe.
This week, September 15-21, is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Celebrated annually, this week allows us to give thanks to all the truck drivers, like those on the Breaux team, who go above and beyond in doing one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs.
Proving the adage that not all heroes wear capes, truck drivers are among the first to answer the call for help in times of trouble. When the global pandemic struck and the world stopped, they remained behind the wheel to continue making deliveries. When hurricanes cause flooding, or another disaster strikes, the trucking industry steps up to bring relief supplies where they are needed most.
The same is true at Breaux Petroleum. During the best, and worst times, our drivers work hard in keeping our state’s critical industries moving. They show up each day willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and determination has helped shape Breaux Petroleum into the company it is today and has allowed us to successfully serve our customers for more than 100 years.
This week, please join us in celebrating the significant contributions of our team of drivers and all that they do each and every day. Their efforts contribute greatly to our business and the communities we serve throughout the Gulf Coast.
