National Truck Driver Appreciation Week
Behind every gallon of fuel delivered, every load of oil supplied, and every stocked warehouse shelf is a truck driver who made it possible. More than 3.5 million professional drivers in the United States spend their days—and often their nights—on the road, moving the goods and energy that power our lives and our economy.

The trucking industry is the backbone of American commerce. Trucks transport nearly 72% of the nation’s freight, reaching communities large and small. In fact, most towns depend entirely on trucks to receive supplies, proof of just how essential drivers are to everyday life.
At Breaux Petroleum, we see this impact up close. Our drivers are the reason our products reach customers safely, on time, and in the reliable manner they’ve come to expect from us for more than 100 years. Their work is not only about transportation, but also about trust, safety, and service.
This week, September 14th-20th, we celebrate the tremendous contributions of our team of drivers. They take on one of the most challenging jobs, and they make it look effortless.
Time and again, our drivers have shown their resilience. They continued delivering vital goods when the pandemic brought much of the world to a halt. They answer the call when hurricanes, floods, or other disasters strike, bringing relief to communities in need. They are, without question, some of the most dependable heroes on our roads.
Whether conditions are easy or difficult, they keep moving forward, ensuring that the industries fueling our state and region never miss a beat. Their dedication is woven into the history of our company and is a major reason we’ve been able to serve the Gulf Coast for more than a century.
So, this week and every week, we extend our gratitude to the drivers who keep Breaux Petroleum moving. Please take a moment to thank a truck driver you know. To learn more about National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, visit www.ntdaw.org.
