Breaux Petroleum was honored to speak at the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce’s Bayou Briefing luncheon on Thursday, January 12. As part of the luncheon, the company’s fifth generation of leadership – Blake Breaux, executive vice president, and Derek Breaux, vice president of operations – shared the story of the company’s 100-year history, its many contributions to Lafourche Parish, and plans for the future.

During the event, Lafourche Chamber of Commerce Chair of the Board Tad Lafont from Lady of the Sea General Hospital and Chamber President and CEO Lin Kiger presented Breaux Petroleum with the Chamber’s first-ever Lifetime Membership Award.

“Congratulations simply does not seem like enough to recognize Breaux Petroleum Products’ 100 years in business. We are extremely proud of your membership in the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce, and we are grateful for this opportunity to share in this celebration of your perseverance and commitment to your customers, your employees, and your community,” read Kiger.

Kiger continued, “The Lafourche Chamber of Commerce decided that this milestone deserved special recognition,” which is why the Chamber Board of Directors voted to award their first-ever Lifetime Membership Award acknowledging this milestone and guaranteeing lifetime membership in the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce.

Breaux Petroleum is proud to be recognized by the parish where it got its start over 100 years ago. We look forward to continuing to serve the Lafourche community for the next 100 years!
