Breaux Petroleum Announces Additions to Leadership Team

Breaux Petroleum Products today announced two strategic additions to its management team. Roy P. Francis joins the company as senior vice president and Azalea S. Duncan has joined as its human resources manager.

As senior vice president for Breaux Petroleum, Francis will lead the company’s strategic growth and business development initiatives. Francis comes to Breaux Petroleum with more than 25 years of experience in governmental relations, energy, and environmental and project management at the local, state and federal levels. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. where he held several increasing positions of leadership since 2005. While at Gulf Island, Francis was instrumental in the creation of the shipyard division, diversifications into the renewable sector, onshore modular fabrication sector and federal shipbuilding opportunities.

Joining Breaux Petroleum as its human resources manager, Duncan will help to further align the administrative and human resource practices of the company. Duncan comes to Breaux with more than 25 years’ experience in the human resources field. She began her career with Hanes-Sara Lee in her hometown of Monclova, Mexico, in 1992. In 2000, Duncan joined Gulf Island where she was later named the company’s human resources manager in 2008. She led the department for Gulf Island until her departure this year. Duncan brings notable experience in strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations and compliance to Breaux Petroleum.

The addition of leadership for Breaux Petroleum comes as part of the company’s effort to bolster its rapid growth since opening its second facility in Lake Charles in 2017. Since that time, Breaux Petroleum has increased its geographical footprint as one of the leading providers of fuel and lubricants throughout South Louisiana and has further expanded its portfolio of services with a focus on industrial-related reliability.

“We are proud to expand our team of strategic leaders with both Roy and Azalea. Their additions are part of our continued effort to maintain a competitive advantage as a leading provider of fuel and lubricants,” said President Leon “Bud” Breaux, III. “With their leadership and impressive professional backgrounds, we’ll advance our focus on both the capabilities of Breaux Petroleum and our ability to provide customers with the quality products and service they have come to expect.”
