Jester’s Court Donates to Local Organizations

Jester’s Court stores, the convenience store division of Breaux Petroleum, recently contributed a combined $1,600 to local organizations through this Shell’s Giving Pump program. Now in its fifth year nationwide, The Giving Pump is part of Shell’s Force For Good initiative, which encourages stations across the country to support the communities they serve.

Throughout September and October, customers who chose the specially marked purple pump at Jester’s Court locations across the Bayou Region helped direct funds to local organizations. A portion of every gallon purchased at that pump went directly to community groups, allowing everyday fill-ups to make a meaningful impact.

This year’s donations supported by Jester’s Court included:

  • Trojan Lancer Band Booster Club
  • South Lafourche High School Project Graduation
  • Peer Adaptive League Sports

More than 6,500 Shell stations participated nationwide during the two-month campaign. Since launching Force For Good, Shell has continued to spotlight the important role fuel wholesalers play in strengthening the communities where they work and live.

“The Giving Pump is a tradition we look forward to every year because it lets us directly impact the communities our customers call home,” said Bud Breaux, president of the family-owned operating companies of Jester’s Court stores. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to be able to support local organizations through this year’s campaign.”

Jester’s Court operates full-service convenience stores throughout the Bayou Region, with locations in Raceland, Mathews, and Golden Meadow. Each year, the stores take part in The Giving Pump as a way to give back and show support for local organizations close to home.
