Jester’s Court Donates to Local Organizations

Jester’s Court stores, the convenience store operations supported by Breaux Petroleum, recently donated $1,900 in total to local organizations throughout the community as part of the Shell USA The Giving Pump initiative. For the third year, The Giving Pump ran across the U.S. as part of Shell’s Force For Good initiative to give back and drive positive change in local communities.
From September through October, a portion of the purchases made by consumers who used the designated pump at a Jester’s Court store across the Bayou Region were donated to a number of local organizations. The Giving Pump was specially marked with colorful purple signage to inspire consumers to fuel up and support the local charities.

The organizations supported by Jester’s Court included:
- Central Lafourche Baseball Association
- Central Lafourche Youth Basketball
- CLHS Varsity Cheer
- Club 1273
- Give Kids the World
- Trojan Lancer Band Booster Club
“We take great pride in participating in the Giving Pump program each year. It is important to us that we continue to give back to the communities where our customers live,” said Bud Breaux, president of the family-owned operating companies of Jester’s Court stores. “We are honored to have the opportunity to support each of the local organizations with this year’s Giving Pump campaign.”
More than 7,500 Shell stations across the U.S. signed up to give back during this two-month initiative. Since launching Force For Good, Shell has been highlighting the impact of fuel wholesalers in the communities in which they live and operate.
Jester’s Court is a chain of full-service convenience stores serving the Bayou Region. Jester’s Court has locations in Raceland, Mathews, and Golden Meadow.
