Breaux Celebrates Truck Driver Appreciation Week
Each year more than 3.5 million American truckers drive over 320 billion miles and fulfill an essential and enormous responsibility. Truck drivers’ impressive level of dedication and commitment to safety should be matched by our deepest gratitude.

This week, September 10-16, is National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Celebrated annually, this week allows us to give thanks to all the truck drivers, like those on the Breaux team, who go above and beyond in undertaking one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs.
Truck drivers are among the first to respond when disaster strikes, proving that not all heroes wear capes. When hurricanes cause flooding, wildfires cause devastation, or any other disaster strikes, America turns to the trucking industry – the only form of transportation that is nimble enough and has sufficient capacity and capability to bring supplies where they are needed most. As we all know, this hardworking group of men and women remained behind the wheel to continue delivering goods during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The same is true at Breaux Petroleum. During the best, and worst times, our drivers work hard in keeping our state’s critical industries moving. They show up each day willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and determination has helped shape Breaux Petroleum into the company it is today and has allowed us to successfully serve our customers for more than 100 years.
